Photography and Creative Practice for Self-Knowledge through Kink, Intimacy & Collective Narratives

with Adrián Coto

Photography becomes a tool for self-discovery, creative expression, and collective storytelling in this participatory workshop led by Adrián Coto. Through writing, movement, and collaborative image-making, participants will explore intimacy, desire, community, and belonging while developing an intuitive visual language.

Working in a consent-led environment, participants are invited to create collaborative photographic works that may include nudity and explicit content. Featuring performers from the adult film industry, the workshop explores the artistic and political possibilities of erotic image-making through shared visual narratives.

Open to all experience levels, the workshop prioritises experimentation and collaboration over technical skill, offering a space for creative exploration, self-knowledge, and collective expression.

Screening | International Open Call 2026 | Intimacy Unbound

Opening UNCENSORED Festival 2026, this programme presents a selection of films from our International Open Call exploring intimacy in all its forms—both explicit and non-explicit. The films celebrate human connection, vulnerability, pleasure, care, and desire across diverse identities and lived experiences. From queer intimacy and disability to body autonomy, consent, and emotional connection, they offer thoughtful and often unexpected perspectives on what intimacy can look like on screen.

As governments and digital platforms tighten control over online spaces, adult content and sex-positive communities are increasingly under attack around censorship, visibility, and digital rights. Drawing on the work of Dr. Carolina Are—digital criminologist, research consultant, activist, pole dance performer, and content creator—this panel examines how regulation, platform moderation, and algorithmic governance are reshaping digital sexual cultures and influencing the ways sexual content is created, shared, and experienced.

Joined by filmmakers, artists, and sex workers from this year's festival programme, the discussion will explore how these shifting digital policies affect artistic creation, filmmaking, authorship, and the circulation of sex-positive cultural work, offering diverse perspectives on the challenges and future of sexual expression online and on screen.
