Workshop | Objectification

An intensive workshop with Normies Study Group

Following presentations in Prague, Berlin, Barcelona, and Copenhagen, Normies Study Group brings its acclaimed research methodology to UNCENSORED Festival for a one-day intensive workshop. Challenging conventional ideas of objectification, the workshop explores it as an embodied, relational practice rooted in care, desire, consent, power, vulnerability, and play.

Through movement, touch, sound, collective composition, and embodied exercises, participants will investigate intimacy as an artistic methodology while developing practical tools that can be applied to performance, artistic practice, and collaborative creation.

Open to artists, performers, researchers, and anyone curious about embodied experimentation, no previous performance experience is required. The workshop functions as both a research space and a rehearsal process, with participants collaboratively generating the material for a live performance and body installation that will premiere as the closing event of UNCENSORED Festival 2026 on 11 July.

Screening | International Open Call 2026 | Uncensored Narratives

Bringing together bold voices from around the world, Uncensored Narratives showcases films that push beyond conventional representations of sexuality. Through documentary, fiction, experimental cinema, and hybrid forms, the selected works challenge censorship, celebrate underrepresented experiences, and expand the visual languages of pleasure, identity, politics, and desire.

Together, these films offer fresh perspectives on intimacy, autonomy, community, and resistance, demonstrating how erotic cinema can continue to evolve as a space for artistic experimentation and political expression.

Representing Bodies, Desire & Intimacy in Contemporary Cinema

Moderated by Lidia Ravviso

Bringing together filmmakers from this year's International Open Call, this panel explores how contemporary cinema is reshaping the representation of bodies, pleasure, desire, intimacy, and sexuality on screen. Through the lens of the festival's selected films, the discussion will address diverse gazes, queer perspectives, body politics, consent, censorship, and the evolving languages of erotic cinema.

The panel will be moderated by Lidia Ravviso, founder and co-director of UNCENSORED Festival, programmer of the London Fetish Film Festival, multi-award-winning film director working in adult cinema, Intimacy Coordinator, and Head of Cultural Programme at Stück.
